This home in Deep Cove underwent a complete interior transformation, rebuilt to reflect the homeowners’ Japanese heritage. The 180-degree view of Indian Arm also heavily influenced the design, with subtle nods to the West Coast landscape woven throughout. The kitchen features a built-in nook and breakfast area, bold cabinetry, and textured white tile backsplash. A dramatic powder-coated steel fireplace shroud with a rounded hearth, contrasted by black pebble tile, anchors the living space. Custom built-in seating offers a comfortable spot to take in views through the bay window. An oak hardwood-clad ceiling draws the eye toward a generous vaulted skylight, while Venetian plaster creates soft, organic curves along the staircase. The primary bathroom defines luxury with dark green Italian marble on the countertops and bathtub, set against natural flagstone floor tile.
